MagToo

MagToo

Here is another slideshow creation site, much like the previously mentioned Slide. MagToo is currently still in beta, so there are some features that are still under development and still to come, but so far I see nothing bad out of the site. I have no complaints because everything has been working pretty well. You have to set up account, like most sites. Once you’re done with that, you choose a preset theme, which dictates the frame around your new slideshow. Oh and I forgot to mention that you can have slide shows, panorama shows, and a trip show. A slide show is pretty much what you would expect, while a panorama show is made through pictures you upload. The site automatically stitches them for you. However, one down side is that the panorama show is not yet ready for Firefox, which stinks. The trip show allows you to pin pictures onto a map, much like Google Earth and Picasa. While creating a slideshow, I found all aspects intuitive and very user friendly. MagToo supports many ways to upload, including from the computer, Facebook, Friendster, Flickr, Photobucket, Bebo, and from images online. It has a pretty wide upload selection, but I thought that some of the themes were lacking. It’s still in beta, so for a beta site, the vast amount of themes will do. MagToo also allows you to customize the animation for your slideshows and then gives you a link to imbed to all your favorite sites. I gave it a shot and made a video in less than a minute. Literally. So give it a shot and look for more to come!
